2x+2yi+3xi-3y=-5+4i

Simplify the above equation,

2x-3y+(3x+2y)i=-5+4i

Compare the numbers

2x-3y=-5                                    -------- (1)

3x+2y=4                                   ---------- (2)

Solve equations (1) and (2) using elmination method

3(1)-(2(2)

6x-9y=-15

6x+4y=8

----------------

-13y=-23

y=23/13n(1)

Substitute 23/13 for y in equation

2x-3(23/13)=-5

2x-69/13=-5

26x-69=-65

26x=4

x=4/26=2/13
