Substitution method :

Given  equations are

y = 6x - 11      ---> (1)

- 2x - 3y = - 7  ---> (2)

From (1) substitute the y value in equation (2).

- 2x - 3(6x - 11) = - 7

Combine like terms uisng distributive property.

- 2x - 18x + 33 = - 7

- 20x + 33 = - 7

Separate the variables and constants.

- 20x = - 7 - 33

- 20x = - 40

Divide each side by - 20.

x = 2.

Substitute the x  value in equation (1).

y = 6(2) - 11

y  = 12 - 11

y  = 1.

Solution of the system is x  = 2, y  = 1.
