Substitution method :

The equations are

x - y = 2       ---> (1)

4x - 3y = 11 ---> (2)

Solve for x from (1).

x - y = 2

x = 2 + y.

Substitute x = 2 + y in (2).

4(2 + y) - 3y = 11

8 + 4y - 3y = 11

8 + y = 11

y = 11 - 8

=>y = 3.

Substitute the y  value in (1).

x - 3 = 2

x = 2 + 3 = 5

=>x = 5.

Solution x = 5 and y = 3.
