Substitution method

Given equations are 2y + 3x  = 112 ---> (1)

y + = 48

y  = 48 - ---> (2)

Substitute the value in equation (1).

2(48 - x) + 3x  = 112

96 - 2x + 3 = 112

96 + x  = 112

x  = 112 - 96

x  = 16

Substitute the value in equation (2).

= 48 - 16

y  = 32

Solution = 16 and y  = 32.
