The Equation is 2√(2cosx) + 4 = 6.

2√(2cosx) + 4 = 6

Subtarct 4 from both sides.

2√(2cosx) = 6 - 4

2√(2cosx) = 2

Divide with 2 on both sides

√(2cosx) = 1

2cosx = 1

cosx = 1/2

So the General solution of cosx = 1/2 is

x = 2nπ ± cos^-1(1/2)

x = 2nπ ± π/3

Therefore the General solution of x is 2nπ ± π/3.
