Book weight w = 27 N

Pulled with force Fp= 15 N

Frictional force Ff = 8 N

The acceleration of the gravity g = 9.8 m/s

Net force on the book F = ?

The acceleration of the book a = ?

weight w = mg = 27 N

m*9.8 = 27

m = 27/9.8

m = 2.755 kg

Net force F = Fp - Ff

F = 15 - 8

F = 7 N

The acceleration of the book a = F/m

a = 7 / 2.755

a = 2.541 m/s²

Solution :

Net force on the book is 7 N

The acceleration of the book is 2.541 m/s²
