Atmospheric pressure, patm = 13.27 psi

Density of air ,ρ =2.52 *10^-3   slugs/ ft^3

Acceleration due to gravity, g = 32.2  lb/ft^3

Calculate the altitude,

P= ρgh

h = P/ρg

   = 13.27 lb/in^2*144 (lb/ft^ 2 /lb/in^2)/2.52*10^-3*32.2

   =23549.246 ft

   =4.46 mi
