The trigonometric equation 3 tan2 x = 1

tan2x = 1/3

tan2x = (1/√3)2

tan2x = tan2(π/6)

The general solution of tan2(x) = tan2(α) is x = nπ ± α, where n is an integer.

α = π/6

Solutions are x = nπ ± π/6 , where n is an integer.
