Passing through the first point (0 , 7)

Passing through the second point (4 , 10)

Two points (x1, y1) (x2 , y2) then the slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

(10 - 7) / (4 - 0) = 3 / 4.

The slope m and the point (x1 , y1) then the equation of the line : y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 7 = 3 / 4(x - 0)

y - 7 = 3x / 4

Multiply each side by 4

(y - 7)4 = 3x

4y - 28 = 3x

Subtract 4y from each side

-28 = 3x - 4y

The equation of  the line : 3x - 4y = -28.
