The area of a circle fomula = πr2 where r is the radius

The area of  a circle = 28in sq

Therefore πr2 = 28

But π = 3.14

3.14(r2) = 28

r2 = 28 / 3.14

r2 = 8.92

Take square root to each side

r = 2.99in.
