Step 1:

Find the Thevenin's equivalent resistance.

1.Open the load resistor.

2.Open Current Sources and Short Voltage Sources.

3.Calculate the Open Circuit Resistance. The resultant open circuit resistance is the thevenins Resistance (RTH).

Since current source of 2 A is open circuited, then the resistor image is not to be considered.

Redraw the circuit :

Observe the circuit,

The Resistors  image and image are in parallel.

Above resultant is in series with resistance image.

Equivalent resistance is image.

Thevenin's equivalent resistance is image.

Solution :

Thevenin's equivalent resistance is image.
