16.The intercept form of line equation is x/a +y/b = 1

Substitute  x-intercept, a = 4 and  y-intercept, b = -2 in the above equation.

x/4 + y/(-2) = 1

x/4 - y/2 = 1

(x - 2y) /4 = 1

Multiply each side by 4.

x - 2y = 4

Multiply each side by negative 2.

-2(x - 2y) = -2(4)

-2x + 4y = -8

The line equation is-2x + 4y = -8.

The solution is B
