1) Given that 3 lottery tickets are drawn from a total of 50.

The tickets will distributed to each of the 3 employees that means 3 tickets are distributed

      to 3 employees.

      The simple events are:

       1 ticket to each employee.

1 ticket to one employee and 2 tickets to 2nd employee

        3 tickets to one employee

2) Number of persons = 4

Number of seats which are vacant = 10 seats

Number of ways for the 4 persons to be seated = image

                                                                                = (10 * 9 * 8 * 7) / (4 * 3 * 2 * 1)

                                                                                = 30 * 7

                                                                                = 210

Therefore in 210 ways 4 persons can be seated.
