 |3x+8|=5x-8

3x+8=5x-8 or 3x+8=-(5x-8)

3x+8=5x-8 or 3x+8=-5x+8

5x-3x=8+8 or 3x+5x=8-8

2x=16 or 8x=0

x=8 or x=0

Verifying:

For x=8

|(3*8) +8|=(5*8)-8

|24+8|=40-8

|32|=32 , true

for x=0

|(3*0) +8|=(5*0)-8

|0+8|=0-8

|8|=-8 ,false

So the only solution is x=8
