2.3m - 11 = -29.4

Add 11 to each side

2.3m-11+11=-29.4+11

2.3m = -18.4

Divide each side by 2.3

2.3m/2.3 = -18.4/2.3

m =8

-----------------------

-1.2m + 1.25 = 0.77

Subtract 1.25 from each side

-1.2m + 1.25-1.25 = 0.77-1.25

-1.2m=-0.48

Divide each side by -1.2

-1.2m/-1.2 = -0.48/-1.2

1.2m/1.2 = 0.48/1.2

m =0.4
