Given inequality

16 ≤ 12x + 4 ≤ 20

Subtract 4 from the above inequality

16 - 4  ≤  12x + 4 - 4  ≤  20 - 4

12  ≤  12x  ≤  16

Devide total inequality with 12

12/12  ≤  (12x)/12  ≤  16/12

1  ≤  x  ≤  4/3

1  ≤  x  ≤  1 1/3

Answer :

Answer is option (d) i.e. 1  ≤  x  ≤  1 1/3
