Given equations are x = y + 6 -> (1)  and y = -2 - x  -> (2)

Substitute x = y + 6 in (2) we get,

               y = -2 - x

          => y = -2 -(y + 6)

          => y = -2 - y -6

          => 2y = -8

          => y = -8/2

                  = -4

Substitute y value in (1) we get,

               x = y + 6

          => x = -4 + 6

          => x = 2

Therefore the answer is (2, -4)
