Step 1:

The function is h (x) =  5 / [√(6 + 3x)]

h(x) is in the form of composite function fog (x).

Rewrite the expression.

fog (x). =  5 / [√(6 + 3x)]

The notation f o g means that the function  is applied first and then  is applied.

Assume g(x) = 6 + 3x.

fog (x). = 5 / [√(6 + 3x)]

f ( g(x) ) =   5 / [√g(x)]

Substitute g(x) = x in above function

f (x) =   5 / √x

Hence,

The functions are f (x) =   5 / √x and g(x) = 6 + 3x.

Solution :

The functions are f (x) =   5 / √x and g(x) = 6 + 3x.
