The equation is

[ 5 / (x + 3) ]  + [ 1 / (x - 2) ]  =  5 / (x^2 + x - 6)

[ 5(x - 2) + 1 (x + 3) ] / [ (x + 3)(x - 2) ]  =  5 / (x^2 + x - 6)

[ 5x - 10 + x + 3 ] / (x^2 - 2x + 3x - 6)  =  5 / (x^2 + x - 6)

[ 6x - 7 ] / (x^2 + x - 6)  =  5 / (x^2 + x - 6)

[ 6x - 7 ]  =  5

6x  =  5 + 7

6x  =  12

x  =  12 / 6

x  =  2

Answer :

The solution is x = 2.
