The System of equations are

3  =  4x + y  =======>  4x + y  =  3 -------------> (1)

2y  =  6 - 8x  =======>  8x + 2y  =  6 --------------> (2)

From Eq (2)

2(4x + y)  =  6

(4x + y)  =  6/2

4x + y  =  3  --------------> (3)

Eq (1) and Eq (3) are collinear.

Hence, The system of equations has infinitely many solutions
