The fuction is f( x) =x^4 – 8x^3 + 16x^2 – 19

Synthetic  division f(x) by ( x - 5)

 5  | 1   -8    16   0  -19

       0    5   -15   5    25

______________________

       1    -3    1   5     6

Remainder is 6

The  solution  is  x3-3x^2 + x +5+( 6/ ( x - 5).)
