How do u find the answers to 5(x-4)=13

Original equation is 5(x – 4)  =  13

Consider log both sides

(x -4) log5 = log13

xlog5 - 4log5 = log13

xlog5 = 4log5 + log13

x = (4log5 + log13)/log5

x ≈ 5.594.
