Find the escape velocity for the moon in km/s if G= (6.7*10^-20) km/s^2 kg, M=7.4*10^22 and R=1.7*10^3 km. how does compare to the escape velocity for earth?

Calculate the escape velocity for earth by using relation,

Ve=sqrt(2GM/R)

   =sqrt(2*(6.7*10^-20)*7.4*10^22/1.7*10^3)

  =2.415 km/s
