Please help - how would you find the slope and y-intercept for these, basically i need to find m and b so m= and b=

1) y + 2 = 5x - 4
2) 4x + 3y = 2x - 1
3) -2(3x + 4) + y = 0

General form of slope imtercept form of line is y = mx + b.

Here slope = m and y intercept = b

1)y + 2 = 5x - 4

y = 5x - 4 - 2

y = 5x - 6

Slope(m) = 5 and y-intercept (b) = -6

2)4x + 3y = 2x -1

3y = 2x - 4x - 1

3y = -2x - 1

y = -(2/3)x - (1/3)

Slope(m) = -2/3 and y-intercept (b) = -1/3

3)-2(3x  + 4) + y = 0

y = 2(3x + 4)

y = 6x + 8

Slope(m) = 6 and y-intercept (b) = 8
