f(x) = (1-x)^-1

a^-n =1/a^n

f(x) = 1/1-x

f(f(x)) = f(1/1-x)

since f(x) = 1/1-x

= 1/(1-(1/1-x))

= 1/(1-x-1/1-x)

= 1-x/1-x-1

= 1-x/-x

=  x-1/x
