y = 7/x^(1/2)

y = 7x^-1/2

Apply dervative on each side with respect of x.

Recall the formulad/dx(x^n) = nx^n-1

dy/dx = 7*-1/2x^(-1/2-1)

dy/dx = (-7/2)x^-3/2

dy/dx = (-7/2)(x^3)^-1/2

Slope of tangent given curve is dy/dx = (-7/2√x^3)
