Given functions are y = x^3 and y = x

x^3 = x

x^3-x = 0

x(x^2-1) = 0

x = 0 and x^2-1 = 0

x^2 = 1

x = sqrt(1)

x = 1

the point of intersection x =0, x = 1

the interval points are 0,1

The integration gives the area between the x axis and the functions on the interval [0,1]
