Say the points  (x1,y1) = (2,6)

(x2,y2) = (-4,8)

Mid point of given segment = [(x1+x2)/2, (y1+y2)/2]

= [(2-4)/2,(6+8)/2]

= [-2/2, 14/2]

= (-1,7)

Option 4 is correct answer.
