The given segment of end points are  ( 7/2 , - 4) and  (9, 2.8)

The midpoint of the segment of end points (x1 , y1) and (x2, y2) = (x1+x2/2, y1+y2/2)

= ( 7/2+9 /2 ,  - 4+2.8 /2 )

= ( 7/2+9/1 /2 ,  - 4+2.8 /2 )

The LCM of 1, 2 is 2

= ( 7+2(9)/2 /2 , - 4+2.8 /2 )

= ( 7+18/2 /2 , - 0.6 )

= ( 25/2 /2 , - 0.6 )

= ( 25/ 4 , - 0.6)

The midpoint is ( 25/ 4 , - 0.6 )
