The points are (6, - 8) and (14, 7).

Mid point = [(x₁+x₂)/2, (y₁+y₂)/2]

Substitute the values of (x₁, y₁) = (6, - 8) and (x₂, y₂) = (14, 7) in [(x₁+x₂)/2, (y₁+y₂)/2]

Mid point = [(6 + 14)/2, (- 8 + 7)/2]

= [20/2,- 1/2]

= [10, - 1/2].

The mid point of the points is (10, - 1/2).

Distance formula : d = image.

Substitute the values of (x₁, y₁) = (6, - 8) and (x₂, y₂) = (14, 7)in the distance formula.

d = image
