Given line y = (4x-1)/8

Standard form of a line y = mx+b.

Here m represents slope and b is y_ intercept.

y = (4x-1)/8

y = 4x/8-1/8

y = x/2 -1/8

Compare it to standard form of a line.

Slope is 1/2.
