Given -5x+8 ≤ 5x-2

Subtract 8 from each side.

-5x+8-8 ≤ 5x-2-8

-5x ≤ 5x-10

Subtract 5x from eachside.

-5x-5x ≤ 5x-5x-10

-10x ≤ -10

Divide to each side by negitive 10 and flip the symbol of inequality.

-10x/-10 ≥ -10/-10

x ≥ 1
