Given function f(x) = (1/5)x+3

y = f(x)

f^-1(y) = f^-1f(x)

f^-1(y) = x

y = (1/5)x+3

Subtract 3 from each side.

y-3 = (1/5)x

Multiple to each side by 5.

5(y-3) = x

Inverse of given function is x = 5(y-3).

Inverse of the function is 5(x - 3).
