Given function f(x) = log2(3x+5)

Inter change x and y.

x = log2(3y+5)

To find inverse solve for y.

x = log2(3y+5)

Raise by 2.

2^x = 3y+5

Subtract 5 from each side.

2^x-5 = 3y

Divide to each side by 3.

(2^x-5)/3 = 3y/3

y = (2^x-5)/3

f^-1(x) = (2^x-5)/3
