a+7d = 22 ---> (1)

8 = 8/2(a+8)

8 = 4(a+8)

2 = a+8

2-8 = a

a = -6

Substitute a value in (1).

-6+7d = 22

7d = 28

d = 28/7

d = 4

First term (a) = -6 and common difference (d) = 4

= -6+9(4)

= -6+36

= 30
