y = a Sin(kx)

Where k > 0

Have amplitude |a| and period 2∏/k

An appropriate interval on which to graph one complete period is [0,2∏/k]

f(x) = 2Sin[(2/3)x]

a = 2 , k = 2/3

Amplitude = |a| = |2| = 2

Period = 2∏/(2/3)

= 3∏
