The equation is 10-(3/4)n = 14.

Subtract 10 from each side.

10-(3/4)n -10 = 14 -10

-3/4 n = 4

Multiply each side by 4.

-3n = 16

Divide each side by negative 3.

-3n/-3 = 16/-3

n = -16/3

The solution is n = -16/3.
