  u=<3,-1> and v=<-6,-6>

First calculate 9u

9u = 9<3,-1>

    =<9(3),9(-1)>

    =<27,-9>

Next find 2v

2v=2<-6,-6>

   =<2(-6),2(-6)>

   =<-12,-12>

9u+2v= <27,-9>+<-12,-12>

       =<(27-12),(-9-12)>

       =<15,-21>
