A (4 , 7) and B ( 2, -3)

Distance between the points AB = √(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2

= √(2 - 4)^2+(-3 - 7)^2

= √(4 + 100)

= √104

= 2√26

Midpoint of AB = (x1+x2/2 , y1+y2/2)

= ((4+2)/2 , (-3 + 7)/2)

=( 6/2,4/2)

 =(3,2)
