The equation is

The domain of (4 - x) is x < 4 ,for the solution to be real .

Squaring on both sides

4 -x = 100

x = 4 -100

x = - 96.

Check :

- 14  is not equal to 6

Hence x = - 96 is not a solution .

So, there is no solution for the equation .
