Probabilities are

P(A) = 0.2

P(C) = 0.3

Then P(A,C),

We know that  P(A,C) = P(A) + P(C)

 P(A,C) = 0.2 + 0.3

 P(A,C) = 0.5

Therefore  P(A,C) is 0.5

Option (c) is the correct answer.
