Step 1:

The line equation is 3x + y = 4.

The slope intercept form of the line equation is y = mx + c .

Where m  is the slope of the line,

            c  is y - intercept.

The equation is 3x + y = 4.

subtract 3x  from each side.

y - intercept is c = 4.

Solution:
