Given line equation is y = -x+3

Compare it to slope intercept form y = mx+b

Slope of the given line say m1 = -1

parallel lines have same slopes,So required line slope say m2 = -1

Line equation through the point is y-y1 = m(x-x1)

Given point say (x1,y1) = (-2,-2)

y-(-2) = -1(x-(-2))

y+2 = -1(x+2)

y+2 = -x-2

Subtract 2 from each side.

y+2-2 = -x-2+2

y = -x

Required line equation is y = -x.

Typo mistake in 11 th line of above solution.

y + 2 - 2 = - x - 2 - 2

Required line equation is y = - x - 4.
