Distance between the poins say (x1,y1) = (-4,-2)

(x2,y2) = (2,3)

Distance between the two points = √[(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2]

= √ [(2+4)^2+(3+2)^2]

= √(36+25)

= √61
