Slope - intercept form line equation is y = mx + b where m is slope and b is y-intercept.

First find the slope using slope formula (m) = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)

= ( 9 - 5 ) / ( 2 - 3)

= 4 / -1 = -4

The line equation is y  = -4x+ b

Find y-intercept value by substituting any point on the line say (2, 9)

9 = - 4 * 2 + b

b = 17

The line equation is y = -4x + 17
