A number when divided by 28, leaves a remainder of 7.

i.e. x / 28 = 7

Multiply each side by 28.

(x/28)28 = 28(7)

x = 196

When the same number is divided by 35.

Then 196/35 = 5.6

There fore the remainder is 5.6
