Slope-intercept form line equation is y = mx + b, where m is slope and b is y - intercept.

Let the points are (x₁, y₁) = (- 9, 45) and (x₂, y₂) = (9, - 45).

Slope m = [(y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)].

m = [(- 45 - 45)/(9 - (-9))]

m  = [- 90/18] = - 5

Now, the line equation is y = - 5x + b.

Find the y - intercept by substituting any point in the line equation say (- 9, 45)

45 = (- 5 * - 9) + b

b = 45 -45 = 0.

Y - intercept of (- 9, 45) and (9, - 45) is 0(zero).
