Let the points are (x 1,y 1) = (4,4)

(x 2,y 2) = (1,2)

m  = (y 2 - y 1)/(x 2 - x 1)

m  = (2 - 4)/(1 - 4)

m  = -2/-3

m  = 2/3

Slope of two points is 2/3.
