Let shortest side of triangle (a ) = x cm

Then other two sides are b  =  x + 2 cm and c  =  x + 6 cm.

Perimeter of triangle  a + b + c  = 44

x + x + 2 + x + 6 = 44

3x + 8 = 44

Subtract 8 from each side.

3x  = 36

Divide each side by 3.

x  = 36/3

x  = 12

x + 2 = 12 + 2 = 14

x + 6 = 18

Given triangle sides are a  = 12cm , b  = 14cm, c  = 18cm.
