what ia width off a rectangle if thee area is 40cm2 and  lenghth is 8cm.

Area of rectangle = length(width)

Given A = 40cm^2 and l = 8cm

40 = 8(width)

Divide each side by 8.

5 = width

Width of rectangle = 5 cm.
